Domestic Application of International Human Rights Instruments
FWLD has been playing an active role in promoting the domestic application of International Human Rights Instrument. We do so through events as follows:
- Advocacy for the ratification of International instruments
- Monitoring the implementation status of the ratified instruments through review and research
- Translating, Demystifying and Publishing the International Human Rights Instruments
- Reporting on behalf of civil society under BPFA and CEDAW using CEDAW as a tool to protect human rights of women
- Advocacy to Mainstreaming of BPFA and CEDAW Convention in Institutions
- Develop and publish research reports, training manuals, advocacy leaflets on CEDAW and other instruments
- Conduct seminars and workshops
